Two Brammo’s are Better Than One @ Laguna Seca (Update)
What’s better than an Empulse RR? 2 Empulse RR’s. Brammo is now more formidable than ever adding “Legendary Motorcycle Rider” Eric Bostrom to the roster putting another Empulse RR onto the track along with last years TTXGP champ Steve Atlas. See them both in action today at the famous Laguna Seca Circuit (Mazda Raceway).
Eric brings over 20 years of racing experience to Brammo, riding for the likes of Ducati, Harley Davidson Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki over his impressive career. Bostrom had this to say:
“As I’ve always said, I have a love for all things on two wheels. Since my departure from Superbike competition, I’ve been competing in bicycle racing which has sparked my growing compassion for green power,” said Bostrom. “Having ridden both Brammo’s street and race models, the progress electric bikes have made in their short existence is nothing short of phenomenal. Our quest to develop the best bikes of tomorrow is off and to the races, and leaving a smaller footprint along the way.”
Be sure to follow @TTXGP on Twitter for live updates today. The event starts at 10:25 (PST) TODAY!
Where did the Number 1 Bike go… more exciting news shortly!
Update: CONGRATS BRAMMO! Lightning’s Barnes takes 1st, Brammo’s Atlas takes and Bostrom take 2nd and 3rd respectively. A solid performance by Brammo! To vew full official results click here.

Got to see qualifying and the race. Brammo did really well and it was impressive to see them beat the second Lightning which appeared to be a faster bike. Zeros were in another league, essentially running race prepped street ZF9s. IIRC, Steve was catching the lead Lightning towards the end of the race. During qualifying it looked like EBoz’ experience made him the faster rider, but Steve quickly showed that he is the ebike Dr.
Great job to the whole team!
Thanks for the comment! I wish I could have been there since it was such an important race… Had some other family stuff going on
. I will be at the next event at Miller Motorsports Park though! Should have much better coverage of that event!
Miller’s a great track. Make sure you try viewing from Tooele grandstand sometime during the weekend. And great cranked-over photo ops at Dreamboat corner too.
