Brammo Buys Walmart Building in Talent, OR
This just in. Brammo has purchased the Walmart building in Talent, OR. The building is planned to be vacated next month and operations as well as employees will be relocated to a new Super Walmart location in South Medford, OR. A word from Brammo’s founder and CEO Craig Bramscher:
“This is an exciting opportunity for Brammo to accelerate its growth here in the Rogue Valley and consolidate our teams from the multiple locations we currently occupy.”
Talent is about 5 miles north east of Brammo’s headquarters in Ashland so its anyone’s guess as to exactly what “multiple locations” that Craig is referring to… it remains somewhat unclear whether or not this latest acquisition is the next step in an expansion plan that was approved by the civic planning commission of Ashland earlier this year. Either way, Brammo picking up more floor space is certainly a positive sign.
Overall this appears to be win win situation for Wallmart and Brammo as the current Wallmart employees are not being laid off but are simply being relocated to an even bigger store opening in South Medford, about 9 miles north east of its current location. Which, I may add, is well within commuting range for Brammo’s base model Enertia.
