The new colors are nice, but the great content here is what keeps me coming back.

You are too kind, but thanks! I do my best with the amateur blogging skills I have to work with.

Thanks for keeping a great blog – I have been using your site a great deal as I deliberate over getting an empulse or not.
I noticed that you have included the Empulse as an accepted vehicle for the Colorado tax rebate on your calculator – do you know if its officially on their list for zero emission vehicles? As I am considering buying in Colorado, I checked the CO Dept. of Revenue FYI Income 9 form (published January 2011) which has a list of electric motorcycles for 2010. The Empulse is of course, not listed – probably due to the fact that it will not be released until this year. However, I am wondering if you knew if someone has written the Dept. of Revenue already to have it included? I would hate to buy the Empulse with the notion that I was getting a rebate, then find out it is not on the list.
The FYI Income 9 form suggests that you submit a written claim to them for vehicles to be added, which I was planning on doing, but if you knew otherwise – I would love to save the time and effort.

Thanks again for all your hard work, I will be checking back frequently with your blog!

Hey adustum, at this point the calculator provides an estimated CO tax credit based on that document. According to what I have read there is no reason why the Empulse would not be eligible for this tax break. I would submit a written claim myself but i believe that the vehicle in question would need to be in production to even be considered… I certainly could be wrong. I can vouch for the validity of the program though, I did receive a 3150 dollar rebate for my Ford Fusion Hybrid which all but paid for the upgrade!

      Thanks for reading! -Jeremy
